Since 1996 we have been running activity-driven language camps in Europe, welcoming over 40000 students. Together with Kaplan we have 105 years of experience in language education.
With 19 language summer camps in great locations across Europe and North America,we offer exciting destinations to discover and explore while learning a foreign language.
Our summer camps are known to have one of the richest programmes of all-inclusive activities and excursions on the market. Now part of the Kaplan group, we have expanded to include more destinations in the UK and North America!
Alpadia summer camps are located in 6 countries; Switzerland, Germany, France, Canada, the USA and England, with 6 summer bilingual camps!

General Information:

It is certainly easier to communicate, to exchange and to discover the culture around you when you feel at home. We have selected various accommodation options designed around the requirements of young students. According to the region, our students can choose to stay in a residence or with a host family. Whichever option you choose, you will be in an ideal situation to practise the language you are studying daily.
Alpadia residences:
Live with young people of all nationalities, discover various points of view and make new friends. Residence accommodation allows you to have a very enriching experience of community and international life. Depending on the destination, students are accommodated in bedrooms with 1 to 4 beds alongside other Alpadia students. The language classes, the majority of meals as well as some of the activities take place within, or in the immediate surroundings of, the Alpadia campuses (residence and course centre). On request and depending on availability, students may be accommodated with a friend.
Alpadia host families:
The conviviality of a family environment, daily practice of the local language and the discovery of a new culture are some of the numerous advantages that host family accommodation offers. You stay in a twin room and share the common rooms with the members of the family. You eat breakfast and the evening meal with the family and lunch in the cafeteria of the course centre. On request and depending on availability, our students may be accommodated with a friend.

Information provided at the time of registration:
The contract partner expressly declares that the information provided at the time of registration for a language course is true and accurate. Any inaccurate information or omission may lead to immediate expulsion from the course (for example, if a “beginner” overestimates their level of linguistic ability in order to be able to start a course on a date other than the official commencement date for “beginners”).
In that event, the costs of the course will not be refundable, either in whole or in part. Participants will take a placement test shortly after arrival at their destination school and will be placed into the following levels: Beginner-Elementary, Intermediate, or Advanced.

Application Fees:
Alpadia will charge the following Application Fee for each booking:
• CHF 110 (for bookings in Switzerland);
• EUR 75 (for bookings in France and Germany);
• GBP 55 (for bookings in England);
• USD $185 (for bookings in the USA); and
• CAD $185 (for bookings in Canada).

This fee is non-refundable. In the event of late registration (being two weeks or less before the commencement date of the relevant language course), participants will be charged an extra fee for express processing of their booking of:
CHF 40 (for bookings in Switzerland);
EUR 35 (for bookings in France and Germany);
GBP 30 (for bookings in England);
USD $45 (for bookings in the USA); and
CAD $60 (for bookings in Canada).

Changes to course:
Any changes required by a participant must be requested with the relevant period of notice set out below:
