e-Visa is an online application system developed by the albanian government to pre-screen travelers wishing to visit Albania.
Our applications can have a complete access to e-Visa application system. They should complete the e-Visa process prior to travel to Albania by air, land, or sea.
e-Visa is valid for up to two years from the date of issue or until the date on which the passport expires (whichever comes first). After Travel Authorization expires, applications are welcome to re-apply and renew their e-Visa for another two year period.
The e-Visa application process can be completed entirely online and is operated by Albania Government.
During the e-Visa application process:
- Applicants are required to enter biographical information about themselves
- They will also need to answer questions about VWP eligibility
- People with dual nationality should choose the nationality according to the passport to be used for the travel
Travel Authorization is also required by children who do not yet require a ticket of their own to travel
Exemption of visa to enter and stay in the Republic of Albania for up to 90 days in 180 days
- Foreign nationals that have a valid multiple entry Schengen visa, with the condition that the visa must have been used previously in one of the countries of the Schengen area or persons have a valid residence permit in one of the countries of the Schengen area.
- Foreign nationals that have a valid multiple entry visa or a valid residence permit issued by United States of America, Great Britain or Northern Ireland, with the condition that visa issued must have been used previously in the issued country.
- Foreign nationals who are members of the family of EU nationals, when they travel with a spouse who is an EU citizen, and beside the valid passport, they also have another document (i.e. residence permit), where they status is quoted as “family member”.
Visa Type “C”
Short stay visa
Is issued to foreign nationals that wish to enter the Republic of Albania, are entitled to stay for a maximum period of 90 days out of a 180-day period, from their date of first entry. This visa type is Issued with one, two or multiple entries.
Visa Type “D”
Long stay visa
Is issued to foreign nationals who wish to stay in Albania for more than 90 days within a 180-day period and also issued to foreign nationals that might want to obtain a Residence Permit after entering the Republic of Albania. This visa type is issued with one, two or multiple entries
