SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
This program is offered in a 50 years old College providing a high standard of British education in a safe, friendly environment with good modern facilities. The school is located 2 and a half hours by train from London. The 2 campuses offer facilities for photography and video, computer suites, an art studio, modern classrooms, a gymnasium, tennis courts and all weather sports fields. Students can also enjoy the College’s swimming pool for free! A fitness centre is also available. The city itself is a thriving market town on the East coast of England in the county of Lincolnshire with a population of around 60.000 people. It has a rich maritime and agricultural history and, being the main administrative centre for the surrounding rural area, it also offers a wide range of shopping, social and sports facilities. Students are hosted at the Hall of Residence on campus. The Hall of Residence offers 136 single study bedrooms, with a choice of self
catering or catered accommodation at competitive prices.
SCHOOL SYSTEM
The short term cultural and academic exchange program in England lasts from 4 to 20 weeks . International students are welcomed at the College for a short term taster program: they will have the opportunity to improve their English skills and attend regular academic classes with British and international students. Depending on their mother tongue (native English speakers are also welcome in this program), they may: Either study 3 academic subjects + attend 6 hours of IELTS preparation course + 1 hour Tutorial
Or attend 4 academic subjects + 1 hour Tutorial (if they are native English speakers)
Subject Tasters: Biology, Business, Counselling, Criminology, English Literature, Film Studies, History, Law, Mathematics, Media Studies, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics (subject choices depend on timetabling). Note that students may also choose
vocational classes such as Art, Beauty, Computing, Hairdressing, Photography, Sport, Travel & Tourism.
