Every university sets its own conditions, but for applicants from Albania the picture is consistent across the list.

Automatic scholarships appear on the offer. A deposit — typically £4,000 to half the first-year fee — secures your place.

CAS & visa
The university issues your CAS; we file the Student visa and book biometrics in Tirana. Decisions take about three weeks.

Fly & enrol
September, January or May start. Accommodation, arrival and enrolment support until you are settled in.

Can I work while I study?
Yes. Students on a degree-level course can work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time in the holidays. Foundation-year students are limited to 10 hours a week.
How long can I stay after graduating?
The Graduate visa lets you work in the UK at any skill level after your degree. It is 2 years for applications made before 1 January 2027 and 18 months after that (3 years for PhD graduates). A one-year master's starting in September 2026 finishes in 2027 and gets 18 months.
Can my family come with me?
Not on a bachelor's, master's, MBA or foundation course. Only PhD and government-sponsored students can bring a partner or children under the current rules.
Do I need IELTS?
You need to prove English at B2 level, but most universities on this page accept alternatives — PTE Academic, LanguageCert, Oxford ELLT, the university's own online test, and in several cases Duolingo. Some also run a paid pre-sessional English course if you are half a band short.
What is the deposit and is it refundable?
Universities ask for part of the first-year fee before issuing the CAS — usually £4,000 to 50% of the year's tuition, £8,000 at Coventry. It is deducted from your fees and is normally refunded only if the visa is refused.
Are these prices final?
They are the universities' published 2026/27 international fees before scholarships. Your offer letter states the exact fee and any automatic discount. Fees rise a little each year, and laboratory, engineering and health courses often cost more than the classroom rate shown.
