KRITERET E PRANIMIT

Per programe te studimeve universitare:

Diploma e shkolles se mesme ne Ontario ose nje diplome e barasvlefshme me te, OSE
Statusi si student ne moshe madhore-duke filluar nga 18 vjec dhe te kaloje nje test kualifikues te aprovuar nga mbikqyresi. Per me shume informacion kontaktoni zyren e administratorit ne numrin 905-671-9999.
Preferohet nje njohuri baze ne perdorimin e kompjuterit.
Kerkohet nje nivel i mire ne gjuhen angleze.

Per programe te studimeve pasuniversitare:

Kerkohet nje diplome e studimeve universitare ose nje diplome e barasvlefshme me te.
Preferohet qe studenti te kete njohuri baze ne perdorimin e kompjuterit.
Kerkohet nje nivel i mire i gjuhes angleze.

Kritere shtese per studentet qe kane mbaruar studimet si “Punonjes te Kujdesit Personal”:

Kerkohet nje formular mjekesor i plotesuar brenda 30 diteve nga fillimi i programit
Nje raport i kontrollit mjekesor i bere brenda 30 diteve nga fillimi i programit
Nje dokumet i vlefshem i ndihmes se pare Standarte & nje certifikim i nivelit C i Kryqit te Kuq Kanadez para praktikes qe eshte pjese e programit

NIVELI I GJUHES ANGLEZE

Gjuha e udhezimeve te Kolegji CIMT eshte gjuha angleze. Eshte e rendesishme qe studenti te kete nivel ne te shkruar dhe te folur te anglishtes ne menyre qe te mund te ndjeki programin. Ne rast se gjuha angleze nuk eshte gjuha meme, kandidati duhet te demostroje nivel te gjuhes angleze duke dorezuar nje nga dokumentet e meposhtme:

Provimi IELTS Moduli Akademik me pike gjithsej 5.5 pike ose me shume
Provimi TOEFL me 80 pike (online) ose 550 (ne leter)
Provimi MELAB me 80 pike
Provimi PTE (Academic) me minimumi pike totale 50 pike
Kerkohet te jete studiuar per te pakten 3 vite ne nje shkolle ku gjuha e komunikimit eshte anglishtja. Kerkohet nje leter nga institucioni per te vertetuar gjuhen qe eshte perdorur.

Nese studentet nuk zoterojne asnje nga dokumentet e mesiperme me ata duhet te regjistrohen si Studente me Anglishten si Gjuhe te Dyte ne Kolegjin CIMT:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For Diploma Programs:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent OR
Mature student status- be at least 18 years of age and pass a superintendent approved qualifying test. Contact Admin office at 905-671-9999 for more information.
Basic knowledge of computers is preferred.
Proficiency in English.

For Post Graduate Diploma Programs:

Post Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
Basic Knowledge of computers is preferred.
Proficiency in English.

Additional requirements for Diploma in PSW Students:

Completed Medical Form within 30 days of start of the program.
Police check (Vulnerable Sector Search) report submitted within 30 days of start of the program.
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification prior to practicum component of the program.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

The medium of instruction at CIMT College is English. It is important that the student has English speaking and writing skills in order to cope up with the curriculum. In case English is not the first language, the candidate is required to demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting results of one of the following:

IELTS Academic Module with an overall band of 5.5 or more
TOEFL result with a score 80 (online) or 550 (paper-based)
MELAB with a score of 80
PTE (Academic) with a minimum 50 overall
Minimum of 3 years of full time study at a school where medium of instruction is English. A letter from the institution or the transcript justifying the medium of instruction must be submitted for evaluation.

If students do not have one of the above, then they must enrol in ESL with CIMT College:

Completion of CIMT College’s ESL Advanced Program with a minimum of 70%

ADVANCE STANDING / PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT

If the applicant has successfully completed a College or University level course similar in course content of the program being offered, then the applicant will be eligible for an advanced standing or prior learning assessment credit. However, some restrictions apply. Some courses in the first two semesters do not require the curriculum content match criterion. University credits can be used for some courses like English I.

The students shall apply for the Advanced Study Credit by filling and submitting a prescribed application form. The attested copies of the transcripts and/ or the course outlines from the previous school have to be submitted with the form.

The application would be reviewed by the Academic Director and if the credit is to be allowed, the student is required to pay the required fee to utilize the Advanced Standing credit.
