The school accepts pupils from all religious backgrounds. The school is located in Monaghan, a small town of about 6200 inhabitants in the North close to the border with Northern Ireland. It is located 130 km North of Dublin. A typical school day begins at 9am and ends around 3.45pm. There are eight classes per day with one short break. Extracurricular activities vary from school to school but usually sports activities are provided. Students may also join local clubs for sports and activities e.g Football/Soccer, Basketball, Judo, Dance and Music. Students are hosted by local families, warm and welcoming.
